In etiology, especially drugs, a variety of infectious agents, malignancy, and collagen vascular disease play a role. Although there is no specific treatment, removing the disease-causing agent and supportive treatment are the first treatment to be applied. Moxifloxacin is a frequently-preferred fourth generation quinolone in the treatment of pneumonia.
